Shabbat Hospitality Needed
A young couple from Riverdale is considering moving and
is interested in spending Shabbat here. They are in their
20s and expecting their first child. They would like to come
the second or third week in December. If you would like to
host them for Shabbat and/or have them for meals, please

Kal Feinberg Ba’al Tokeah lessons continue at YIOT on

Scholar in Residence
Next Shabbat, YIOT welcomes Rabbi Howard Jachter as
our Scholar in Residence. Rabbi Jachter will present the
following drashas:
9:00a Minyan: A New Perspective on Yaakov taking the Bechorah
Seudat Shlishit: Beis Din in Action
Rabbi Jachter serves on the Beit Din of Elizabeth, is the
author of two volumes of Gray Matter, which addresses
contemporary Halachic issues of vital concern, and is on
the Judaic Studies faculty of the Torah Academy of Bergen
County.

The annual Bergen County Chanukah Toy Drive is underway.

Men Wanted!
The shul is making every effort to keep the 8:00p Ma’ariv
minyan going. One night this past week, only "one" person
showed up for Maariv.
Can you help make the minyan? Ma'ariv only takes 15
minutes (maximum) of your time. B"H there are over 140
family members in our shul, but only 10 men are needed
for Ma'ariv.
Please commit to at least one night Monday through
Thursday each week. Thisminyan every night.

Chesed Opportunity
CareOne, the kosher rehabilitation center located at 544
Teaneck Road needs volunteers to maintain continuity of
their Shabbos minyanim.
Various shuls & organizations throughout the Teaneck
area are being asked to send over a handful of members
on a weekly rotating basis to participate in the various
minyanim throughout Shabbat. This will be coordinated
directly with Rabbi Joseph Siev of CareOne.
Please call Rabbi Siev at 201-287-8516 or email
jsiev@care-one.com and let him know which weeks you
are available to attend, and if you would like to daven, lain,
give a d’var Torah, be a Gabbai etc. Please leave your
